I was left ho hum when we watched it in the theater, so I hope part of that was the theater experience which sucks in my town. I intend to watch it on Blu again.

All the critics blasted it for black levels at night, ummm it was night... that's why if I enjoy a movie I don't give a tinker's da** about PQ or AQ, I watch for my enjoyment not to nitpick.

Did not notice that, movie just seemed to drag for me. But, a lot of the excitement can be driven by audio, and all my theaters have it so low I can hear popcorn eating, which is ridiculous. I'm hoping when I rewatch it on my gear I enjoy it more. Aq and pq don't matter as much to me in older flicks, but I expect new movies to at least look decent. Only time I have aq expectations are in a good action movie that requires it.

I don't pay much attention to critics in-general. I watch movies that look interesting to me/that tend towards my movie interests. Which is why Cowboys & Aliens is in my queue.

Planet of the Apes ... Excellent!!!

Last: Decided on Star Wars New Hope instead of Jurassic park.

Fun, audio not as good as first 3 but it looks and sounds great considering how old it is.

Next: Friends with Benefits

Loving the new speakers.
