You won't be disappointed. Just set aside 2 1/2 hours for the movie. It flies, though.

I finally got around to watching District 9. Overall, I liked it, but there were some bits just a little too hokey or unbelievable, and some inconsistencies (eviction notices 24 hours ahead, or a week?). It screams for a sequel, and so it appears. District 10 seems to be in the works.

Am I overly critical of District 9? What did you guys think of it?

That's probably a good description of my mixed feelings. I guess we'll have to see previews/reviews. Somehow, I think it screams "cheap sequel."
