Does anyone know what's going on between the negotiations of LIN TV and DirecTV? With all this new HD, it would be great to get my FOX HD over satellite. I don't see why I should have to run another dedicated line for OTA.

This site has been very helpful. Hopefully someone here has the inside info on the negotiations and when we might see LIN"s channels in HD on DirecTV.

Lin, Belo and Sinclair are the biggest threats to HD in this country. Belo owns the ABC affiliate here, who corporately decided that they should sideconvert 720p to 1080i. And both were big USDTV supporters before it went under. Companies like these are why honest peope call up D* and "move"

My cable company caved in to them. I wonder how much it cost them.

I don't think comcast has yet in the Albuquerque market... (not the cable provider here... US Cable, no HD)

LIN has gotta be getting nervous with not signing with DirecTV, the largest HD carrier. Do anyone here have any inside info?
