Lip Sync Issue

I have a 722 which seems to have a problem with lip sync. This only on recorded events. The program will play along then suddenly stop or pixelate and the lip sync will be 2-3 seconds behind. It will do it's little stop then things will be OK. Not sure what is the problem but it is irritating. Thanks

Any wise ideas or does this stump all of you? Just curious if it is a software problem or maybe the hard drive is having issues. I am running 617 so not sure if an upgrade would help or not.Thanks

Problems with playing recorded events may be a symptom of hard drive failure coming soon.

Back up your programming if you have EHD installed and call Dish.

I have to say that I experience lip-sync issues on my Tivo series 3 and even when I watch connected directly to my TV real-live OTA HD. I used to think it was always Dish, but now I feel comfortable saying that it may be Dish's fault less than half the time. I can't tell you how many times Tivo and OTA connected directly to my TV have had the lip-sync problem because I have lost count.
