One thing I don't like about these shows is that it leads to more questions then answers.

Obviously we need more info on this device, but it sounds like it could be very promising. 2 of these would mean 6 satellite tuners. I'd like to have an extender for each so I could do 4 HDTVs and that would be perfect.

It has to be for that May "Free Sling Adapter" promotion. They could be segmenting the eco system. The Sling Extender 300 would work with 922 models and down and this new X813 would couple with multiple X110 and be more advanced. I think this certainly explains the Tivo settlement. The "Time Warp" patent is probably key to getting enough performance out of the current DVRs to Sling better and also what the X813 would need to support multiple streams from other X110s in the home.
