I have the H20 and a 3 LNB DTV dish. If I buy a 5 LNB dish so I can get the locals in HD, is it an easy install/switch out that I can do myself? In other words, will I need to run any additional cable through my attic?

The AT-9 antenna is the same as the old Phase III with regards to cables: you need as many cables as your receivers have inputs, up to 4 max, at which point further expansion is done with multiswitches.

If you are very very technically capable attempt it yourself otherwise let Directv do it.:(
It can be done but it is not a simple upgrade that many should try.
