LNB swap?

i currently have a dish 500 with twin legacy going into 2 sw21's and feeding 2 dvd510's. i want to add another receiver so can i just change my lnb out to a legacy quad? if so will my receiver automatically recognize the new switch since the sw21 will no longer be installed?

What you have now then are 2 legacy dual LNBs. Yes you could put up a legacy quad and have the ability to run 4 receivers.

When you reconnect your 510s you need to run a check switch in the installation menu but thats it. Just make sure all lines are RG6 cable.
