but how good is the HD and SD quility of cablevision these days? hows it compare to dish?

Dish looks better.

CV's HD lineup looks like garbage. They are all highly compressed except for broadcast networks and the RSNs.

not what I wanted to here LOL

I just dropped dish today due to a few reasons cost and line of sight issues. I could go to directv as i do have line of sight. BUT figured between the price CV was giving me as a dish customer was too good to pass on; and using tivo hd again was also a big bonus.

BUT if it looks bad thats not good, our main TV is large at 60" and well I assume it would look even worse?
