Looking for New CNN Sat

This is good news for FTAers. 97W Galaxy 19 is easier to receive than 87W SES2. It's higher in the sky and it has easy-to-receive transponders. Even in rainy weather now it is over 11 dB on my 1-metre dish.
For me, *some* transponders on 87 were tricky, but except for the occasional weird dropout (weather at the uplink site?), the CNN feeds were often the strongest transponder in the sky.

No issues with 87 KU here either. Tuning all available feeds well with only a 76cm dish.

Hello folks, I'm new here but been watching FTA for quite a few years now. Galaxy 19 and SES 2 are the only ones I can get from my location here in Mass, once the foliage fills in, I lose G19 until next fall. So I enjoy it over those several months. I see that message about CNN moving but when I search for 11795 H 30000 but nothing shows up for that one. I've also wondered about the SES 2 Sat, I get the handful of stations on this one, enjoy watching the live news feeds on major events, but I get a few extra channels, that come up Uplink-Enc-1-COR, appears to be CW coming across it, its not solid, its clear but at times drops out, where it this coming from? I have a 4 foot parabolic dish I use for G19 but going to try and smaller dish and relocate it to clear the trees so I can receive this one all year round. Don't know of any other Sats to be had out there other than these 2. Thanks

So for 87 KU, the mux you're talking about is for KTXS Abilene, TX: Facing the storm: KTXS meteorologist recalls terrifying microburst that destroyed studio

Other feeds on 87:

LPB
LPB feeds
Florida Channel
Lottery
CNN NS (moving to 97, as you know)
Watching a live feed of a Houston TX KHOU airport on channel 3 right now. Wish there were a few more FTA Sats to watch. Are there signs of CNN on G19 yet? I don't see that transponder showing up on the channel list for it?

The KU satellites with the most activity are 87, 97, 99, 101 and 105.

CNN is up on 97 (or at least it was yesterday)
Morning, on that transponder? I did a blind search on that Sat, didn't see that one come up. Nice out today here in the Northeast. With all the snow and wind storms we had, going to be checking alignments on my 2 dishes, have one of them Gmedia handheld Monitor to check them out. I attached a image of my dish farm, lol. The Sat at 99 is about the Max I can get on that angle, 87 is my target one and in the clear.

Scans in as S2 8PSK 3/4, just in case someone needs that info to scan. 11.5dB here, but solid. (dish mover might be out just a bit from the high winds over the last month or so). Was going to post the new coordinates, but y'all beat me to it. :)
Convenient to have these on 97W. Will have to do some editing on my main receiver/KODI setup though... Good to have to do this so I don't forget how!

Nice dish farm! CNN Newsource channels 1 to 7 are active now on 11796 H 30000 on 97W.
