Does anyone have a problem with time setting on Amiko 265?
I read that it will automatically update time if it's on the correct channel/satellite.
Is there a go to channel to do this? Have H-H Ku setup.
Thanks

I just tried several transponders on different satellites, and got different times just about every time, as it automatically re-set the time after being on the transponder for a bit. So short answer, it is not going to work. The best method is to use NTP, if you have it connected to the internet. However. it does not update whenever you turn on the receiver, so every few days you have to update it, as it loses time. I haven't tried the manual setting, but would imagine it too would require periodic updates.

I have the same issue with the time setting on the Amiko 4K mini 265, My suggestion is that the firmware is to be updated for a time setting correction for all Amiko receivers. Even with NTP setting on the units such as time syncronization feature on the receiver itself. My time is off as much of 3 minutes off today.
