I have DirecTV. I have 5 tv's connected to one satellite dish. During really bad rain or very high winds all my tv's work fine...

except for one...

how can this be if they are all connected to the same satellite dish?

Thanks so much in advance!

And I'm a satellite newb so please try and use lingo that i'll understand :)

There could be a bad connection somewhere in the cabling to just this receiver.
Or is that one tv HD and the others all standard? In storms HD channels go out first in my expirence. Could be your prob.

We really need a lot more information to give even a reasonable answer. As OSD771 suggests, we need to know if you have a SWM system, what kind of receivers you have and what kind of receiver is cutting out on you. For just one receiver to have this problem, clearly suggests something wrong in the coax line. But, without more information, that is just a very superficial guess.

Like stated, we need more intel on your system. It could be several things from a line to a connector. It could even be a box beginning to fail. Several things.
