Our Dish 500 was installed with a splitter which sends a signal to the tv wall jacks throughout the rest of the house. It has worked fine for 7 yrs..
Yesterday we lost the signal to all the wall jacks beyond the splitter. We installed a new splitter, but still have no signal. Is there anything else we need to check?

Thanks for you help!

You really should not be using a spllitter with satellite signals. Are you sure that it was not a switch? Switches look similar but they have different functionality. also what did you replace it with? model number vendor etc?

Did someone push the TV/Video button while in the sat mode? That will kill the CH3/4 output from the receiver.

I have went to a couple upgrades where they did have a splitter splitting to two different receivers with old 59 and it worked for years. THen I come out and add a different receiver or equipment and its ends up being a total rerun of the house.

Any chance you can supply a picture and/or link to what this "splitter" looks like?
