I lost the LPB channels. "Oh no!" I thought. :eek: :confused:
I rescanned the TPs but no luck.
I love those channels and I was mortified! :(
So I decided to delete all of the AMC 21 channels and blindscanned the satellite.
Well I noticed a new TP during the blindscan, so after it finished, lo and behold, they're back! :D
I see that it was under a new TP. I hope it stays that way!!!

MrFTA, I think they changed Tp's recently if I remember right. They've always come in great during the day and weaker at night for some odd reason. Blind

for the benefit of the rest of the group will be great to post the new freq founded in your blindscanning

Has anyone else experienced a signal drop in the evenings? My LPB comes in strong during the day, but the signal fades around 8:00 pm eastern.
Using a 1.2m Motorized dish, and my signals don't drop-off at night.

Same problem here on the west coast.
Signal Q during the day = 55-60%
After 8pm (PST) = 20-35% - which pixellates and is often unwatchable.

Thanks, brentb636... I've never had a 99 on these, but they're booming in now! I thought, when they were gone, it was just another LPB outage since I had all the national feeds and OETA perfectly!

I used to lose them in the evening with the 90cm dish... Since I've been using the 1.2m motorized dish I have never had a dropped signal, even in the worst rain.

I blindscanned last night, nothing came up as far as the TP for the LPBS channels. I hope they not going off the satellite completely.

I got this info from the LPBS website:
LPB is available via Ku-Band satellite.

* AMC-21 125.0 West
* Transponder 19K Horizontal
* 12069.5 MHz (1319.5 MHz L-Band)
* DVB-S2
* 8PSK
* 3/5 FEC
* 12.475 MSym/s
* 20% Rolloff
How on earth do I program 12069.5? My receiver won't allow that!

I saw that information on their site as well.

The signal is there. Still works for me at 12072, around 60-65% Q these days. My Azbox gets it at 12069 as well.

Most tuners will lock a signal two to five megahertz on either side of the center of a signal, depending on how wide the signal is. LPB is about 8MHz wide.

wow...
I still cannot get any LPBS channels at all. I get all other PBS stuff on AMC 21.
I deleted the satellite and rescanned. No dice.
