Matt Stafford named Lions Starting QB

...Culpepper...has turf toe. Now here's the funny part - (being he's a Lion, there's always a funny part) - he did it on his own carpeting in his living room! 8 stitches to close the cut. You can't make this sh*t up!...

Denny McLain broke his toe in his own livingroom after it fell asleep. Fortunately for him, the Mafia was there to wake it up.

0-18, 24 out of 25 now. I'll be back with "Daze of our Lion's" later today or tomorrow. Defense still sucks, that's for sure.

Oh, thats right, they lost the last game of the previous year also.

So it IS 0-18 .... and counting.

Any polls yet as to when the Lions will win thier next game ?

My guess is Sept. 27th against Washington at HOME, of course had this been on the road, there would be NO chance of winning ....
Possibly Nov 1st as well against St. Louis

C'mon Sabre, they always showed effort, all the way through this miserable streak. Effort only goes so far, after that you have to have talent, something this team is still woefully short of. I expect the offense to do their fair share of scoring at some point, but the "D" is way short of NFL standards on the line. Brees wasn't pressured at all the whole game, and even I could run through them. Until they shore up that "D" line, we will continue to give up 30 pts. a game. But effort? Nobody will ever accuse this team of quitting. Believe or not, I saw some signs of improvement in this team. They will surprise a few teams this year.
