hello all

i am attempting to use a 90cm dish with a conical cband lnbf. looked at the sat calculator for(most southern) g16 99w and my sat angle is 55 i can't seem to lock on any dvb channels. Changed the lnb to ku lnb and moved it east i bit and received all the foriegn channels on 97w. I am located in San Antonio,Texas. Any help would be appreciated.

wasted MY time, too:

I found it an exercise in futility.
If you click on my avatar, the next page will show a picture of my test rig.
You'll notice custom LNB support struts and brackets to hold the scalar.
If you don't lower the C-band LNBF to be on bore-site with the Ku LNBF you removed, you won't be at the focal point of the dish.
(in other words, you'll have to adjust dish elevation, when changing from Ku to C-band LNBF)
