MLB Extra Innings Game Replays on RSN's?

Been subscribed to MLBEI for years and always wondered why games that are reaired on the RSN's are blacked out? For exmaple all "Yankees Encore" games are blacked out on YES. Why? I paid for the package? Why is this different from MLB.TV where I can see any archived game? Anyone know?

It's just the way the deal works. Try to understand why MLB.tv cannot show the commercials or pre/post game shows. It's in the contracts.

I actually skipped on EI and took the money to buy a PS3 on amazon. It is, by far, the best experience with MLB.tv. I used to pay for both services, but I think I've found the sweet spot with the PS3. Roku was buggy and didn't give me audio feed from the radio broadcast.

I think the MLB package is, and always has been, for live games, and I think MLB requires all recorded or reaired games on the RSNs to be blacked out. I don't think I've ever seen any replayed games in the clear on any of the RSNs except my local one.

replays of MLB games are always blacked out except for FS North (my local RSN)
