They better not have any of those late 8:00pm West coast game starts. That is late for us on the West Coast and even later for those on the East coast (11:00pm)

Based on CURRENT standings, and taking markets into consideration, I could see it going something LIKE this:

Wed- Tampa Bay @ Minnesota- 1:30pm ET
San Francisco @ Philadelphia- 5:00pm ET
Texas @ New York- 8:30pm ET

Thur- Atlanta @ Cincinnati- 1:30pm ET
Tampa Bay @ Minnesota- 5:00pm ET
Texas @ New York- 8:30pm ET

Fri- Atlanta @ Cincinnati- 5:00pm ET
San Francisco @ Philadelphia- 8:30pm ET

Sat- Minnesota @ Tampa Bay- 5:00pm ET
New York @ Texas- 8:30pm ET

Sunday is the day that you potenially have all four series playing. In that instance Philly @ SF could be a 10:30/11:00pm ET start.

What, A DAY game ???
You've got to be KIDDING, a WS playoff game during the day ..... :)

Since there will be no PT team from the AL, I think the only way you'll see that is if SD/SF/COL beats out the Reds for the #2 seed in the NL. And even then it could be a late afternoon start.

Tough luck, if it's the two best teams this year.
I would love to see different teams: Reds, Pads, Twins, Rangers. I just do not think the rest of the nation would watch what we would like to see. They all want the big market teams (particularly the Yanks)

BTW, I will be rooting for the Pads against the Dodgers during this series just like I was rooting for the Roxs against the Dodgers over the weekend. Since my Dodgers are out, it does not matter if they win or lose. The next best thing is to NOT have the Giants go. This means I want Atlanta, Rockies, and Padres all winning, even if they happen to be playing my team.

I'm personally rooting for the Padres to come out of the West. I want to see Adrian Gonzalez on the big stage!

No, so I can scout him! ;)

says who? :p
On the being LATE note.
They could have had him before and not cost nearly as much.
Now he's on a team that is now talking about Keeping him, seeing they had a much better year than they thought they would.

Now, that said, if they fall OUT of the race all together, you may STILL be able to pry him from SD, but they will pay a high price.

I'm rooting for a Tampa Bay OR Minnesota vs. Cincinnati World Series! :up

I would LOVE a Tampa/Reds World Series. I like both teams...one is a childhood team and the other.....don't know...just liked them from the day they got a team and the fact that they get no respect and has had the balls to brawl with the Yanks AND the Red Sox.
