Hello Gentleman
I have one of these motors and I want to install it on a Geosat pro 1.2M dish.
The motor comes with a 40 mm, the motor on my dish now it has 50 mm shaft but the motor is working on one leg I think is going out, is slow.
I want to know if any members here has modify this type of motor using some king of metal or plastic pipe or is ok to use just the 40 mm shaft.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Shim with a split piece of PVC pipe. Many have done it.
How slow? Noise? Might be it just needs some lube in the proper 'spot'.
Selecting a horizontal channel will supply higher voltage to the motor. 18 vs 13. Might 'speed it up'.
:welcome to satelliteguys.

I will try your suggestions.

Each type of fixed shaft (shim/fix) must keep dish static (return to same spot). This tension, or tightness/looseness; is adjustable! And if too tight cause motor to bind up! Loosening is accomplished then it is a little looser (returns close); but does not ever bind.

the saginaw motors (SG) all have this adjuster on the motor to cam; which either loosens or tightens the motor screw to cam area; where the lube needs to be!
