More than one remote per H/J

Can more than one remote be paired to a given Hopper/Joey.

Yes, just link them as you normally would. Only 40.0 and 32.0 remotes will work (unless you use IR)

I asked the same question.
They sent me two remotes for my two hopper 0 Joey system.
Now I have Mine in both rooms, my wife has hers and I no longer have to wait for her to find the remote to change the channel or volume.

Pairing multiple remotes with a Hopper is easy.. I have yet to be able to pair multiple remotes with a Joey.

The Joey, is the same.
Did you remember to point the remote to the Joey. That was my problem.

Well everyone I have asked about this told me it was impossible to program two 40.0 remotes to one Joey.. No problem with Hoppers.. Just Joeys for some reason. So are you guys telling me it can be done? I can program the older remotes in IR Mode only to work a Joey.. But not the new 40.0 remotes.

I've got 2 remotes paired to a joey that I have rf modulated and backfed to a tv in the basement. I hit "select, sat" and it paired right up. Works like a charm.

They're both 40.0 remotes.

You have a key for a 40.0 remote?

A lot of people try to use 32.0 remotes and have the key wrong. Just trying to cover all the bases. I assume folks are smart enough to not try to change the 40's non-existent key.
