I am having a hard time setting up my motor. I have a 33" dish with a DMS SG2100 Motor.I cannot get it to work. I have found my true south but still nothing. I was trying to aim at 61.5 and 97W. My postal code is T2Z4S7 and I am in Calgary.

Thanks

I have a CaptiveWorks-700S and a KU-Band LNB.

It says DTH 3600 single output digital ku-band LNBF / input freq.: 11.7 - 12.75Ghz / output 950-2000Mhz. It is a linear LNB

In the receivers Sat / Dish Setup menu:
LNB Type - Single or Standard
LNB Freq or L.O. - 10750
Motor - USALS (enter Your Lat-North and Long -West)
Be sure to have an Active Transponder selected from the Sat list, see "The List" tab at the top of this web page.

This page may help...
Satellite Look Angles Satellite Heading Calculator Azimuth Elevation Skew Tilt LNBF Latitude and Longitude values
Enter Your location and Select your motor from the Sat list and click GO

The Dish Elevation scales are known to be off a few deg, just set to peak signal.
Motor Latitude is set to Your Latitude, once set - do not tweak. Leave motor bolts loose enough to twist on pole until tweaked the best signal quality.
