I am thinking of setting one of my ku dishes up with a motor. I have 2 muzak dishes 1.2m and a 1 m dish that could be used.
I bought a 7 inch piece of dom tube with the id of 2 1/4. I checked and the dg380 had a neck of 55mm or 2.16". I plan on welding the dom tube to my existing mount and drilling and taping 2 or 4 bolt holes in the dom tube.
Can the tube on the dg380 survive me tightining down with the bolts to hold it in place or do I need to come up with some other type of mount for the tube on the dish mount.
