I'm going to have to move my DVR from one room to another. Currently, the dish wire going into the back of my DVR is coming from the floor. Instead of going under the house and moving it that way, I was thinking of just connecting another realy long cable to that cable that leads to the next room. Is there some time of "extender" device I can buy that would make it so that I can connect anohter coaxial cable to it leading to the next room to where the DVR will be? And is that the type of cable I need (coax)? Will it affect the v/a? Anyone have any info. I need help.

Let me know if I have this correctly. I need to only buy 2 items:

1) One barrel connector (Is there only one type of barrel connector?)

2) A long ass RG6 cable with the two connector things on each end.

Do I have that correct? Does Best Buy carry these items? (Although, I'll go to Fry's if I have to.)
