All he has to do now is get up to 30th place in points, which he is just 6 points away from.

Nascar truck race was nice and exciting. The two truck drivers in the fight made national TV. Good for the ratings.

I got a kick out of Tony's quote when asked about the fight:

"I'm going to go to Zaxby's and eat chicken all week just in support of John Wes (Townley)," Stewart joked about the tussle near the end of Saturday's Camping World Truck Series race. "Hey, I'm all for it. I'm glad to see somebody had some emotion and actually did something with it. I'm going to live my life through him for this week. At least I did last night."

(Zaxby's is Townley's sponsor, and is owned by his Townley's Dad, I believe)

I'm not too worried about that lol

Yeah the truck race fight was pretty weak but was also pretty funny...

I wonder if fines or suspensions will come out today for the truck series altercations. Since they claim they no longer want this after the Logano/Kenseth flare up it will be interesting to see what happens.

I think they did show a little bit of racing, yes a crazy amount of commercials.

Had nbc on the AZbox and the follow the leader cam on the CS8000,I was getting a cramp in my finger from pushing the previous channel button so many times

Here's the commercial breakdown. Saturday's race had the second highest percentage of commercials among the last 10 races. The 600 was the highest. Coke really is pushing their name hard here. 'Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca-cola' and the abundance of commercials featuring the Coke drivers. Most old timers I know still refer to the July Daytona race as the Firecracker 400, I still call it the Pepsi 400.

Even when not in commercial, they were still doing their best not to show the race. I don't remember being so irritated by the XFINITY coverage the previous day.

I thought the same thing. They kept talking about the drivers and how they were doing, but didn't show them.

Jr. out another 2 races, Jeff Gordon will drive the 88 car for him...

The question is, will NBC stay with the coverage long enough for anyone to know Gordon is driving?
