NCAA 2013 Football Season

Bowl games are out now but I don't know how to post it and keep the correct format so if someone would like to post them, that would be great.

For WHATEVER reason they decided to have 2 games on a stand alone day (Jan 3rd) ... Jan 2, 4, 5 and 6th all have ONE game on, what do they do ... On Jan 3rd they decide to put 2 games on at the SAME TIME.

It happens to be 2 games I want to see ...

The Orange Bowl, Ohio State vs Clemson and the Cotton Bowl, Missouri vs Oklahoma State ...

The only time NY day games are on at the same time are the early games, noon and 1 pm.


How STUPID ....

and that is why you need at least 2 DVRs AND 2 TVs for proper watching of the games in your HEC. A remote in each hand and "viola!"

3 late BCS games (Fiesta, Sugar, & Championship) the night before 3 of my first 4 work days of the new year. ESPN really must have something against my productivity. I really miss the pre ESPN era when New Years was a football frenzy.

An 8 team playoff would have a few more telling match ups between major conferences. Might alleviate the whining, although I doubt it.

Its like Coach Fisher said, as well as many other coaches, once you have a 4 team playoff then 5 and 6 have a beef, and so on... I still think 8 would have been the good move. It keeps those teams playing more regularly through Dec so they can keep a rhythm. The worst thing about playing in the BCSNCG is that you have 30 days off.

Same here. In fact, I've even blown off the last few BCSCGs, or gone to bed after the first half (except in 2012...one I should've blown off. ). Probably do the same this year as I really couldn't care less who wins. But I don't know, if it's a close one in may keep me hooked.

An 8 team playoff allows higher ranked teams criticized for having easy schedules, as well as the Boise States and Louisvilles, to prove they belong where they are in the polls. A 4 team playoff does little more than give a late #1 upset team a second chance.

Actually, I wanted Sabres to answer that since he has such a strong opinion of Auburn. Be nice to see how close that opinion is to reality when it's all said and done.

I agree with this line of thinking. Several top ten teams every year get told they dont belong, it allows them to prove it. Lets face it, all the talking bobbleheads do is push agenda's and you really dont know for sure unless the teams actually play. Hell, listening to the last two days of bobblehead talk, FSU should just stay home and let the BCS give the crystal ball to Auburn... FSu shouldnt even bother showing up.

Looks like Clemson/OSU opens with OSU as a 3pt favorite. Something like a 38 to 35 game.

For some reason people dont seem to give FSU's D much credit. A good deal of points scored on the Noles this year have been once the starters were pulled in the second half (many times as early 3rd Qtr). Our 2's playing the opponents 1's.

Now I agree Mich St has a great D by what they did to the OSU offense recently, but everyone seems to just look past FSU for some reason.FSU has size, speed and SEC style coaching. They are basically an SEC team in the ACC.

I think FSU's defense is great, and probably why they'd going to pound Auburn.

I just think that Michigan's St has a great one as well, and would put up one hell of a game against them. Far better than than Auburn will.
