NCAA Football 2014 season

Ok, it was State that had the game with them, non the less, sec still managed to not make it to a Big Ten stadium.
Except bama had already played a recent home and home with Penn state. So, I'd wager we've done a home and home with a big 10 foe since y'all done one in reverse.

Wait a minute, how can Bama fulfill a H&H with Penn State and it not go the other way as well, did Penn State not play the Road side of this Bama fulfillment ?

With Miss St. still yet to play Alabama, and every one else with 2 losses, looks like the chances of the SEC putting 2 teams into the playoffs is looking slim.
Especially with FSU being undefeated and if the Pac16, Big Ten, and Big 12 all still have a 1-loss champion.

Be interesting to see which 2 of the 3 (Pac16, BigTen, Big12) get in. Ironically they'll all be rooting for the SEC, in particular for Florida to knock off FSU :D

Va Tech was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long ago ... we palyed with a QB that was playing it's 2nd game in 2 years and an O line that had 4 of the 5 never started a game in thier college career.

Oregon gets the benefit they always say thier loss was with injured guys on the line not playing ....
How is that different than having an entire new line that has never played before ... Bucks certainly aren't getting any love there where Oregon is.
Ok Ill play your game. OLe Miss was so long ago and losing Drake in that game was huge but unlike yourself I am not spitting out whiny excuses. So Move Bama to #1

Its your conference that needs to climb the mountain, not the SEC. Besides, Bama has proven every season the place does not matter. Les Miles entered Saturday night 46-3 at home at night... until the Tide rolled into Death valley where record noise levels have been recorded in the past.

Against an average at best LSU team.
I don't expect bama to play like that this weekend, if they do they will be in trouble.

I actually think LSU is far better than average at best, and thought so well before our game.

As to state, if bama does not win by 14+ I'll be surprised.

I may end up being shocked but I was far more worried about the LSU game than I am this weekend.

I'm curious how they will treat state if its a close game loss and they run the table.

After seeing how they left ole miss in the top four earlier I really don't know

Does that mean Arkansas is better than average at best?
No way.
LSU could not pass the ball.
Don't get me started on LSU defense. They play another good offensive team they will get lit up again.
All that said I do agree with you BAMA should win by 14.
If they play like they just did they will not win.simple as that.

With all the Potential 1-loss conference champs, with good victories, Miss St. probably drops to #6 in a close loss. Further in a blowout.

They might end up there but until those ccgames are played i wouldn't be shocked if they stayed top 4.

We'll soon find out if that's true when LSU plays A&M at Kyle Field. I think LSU's young defense, having healed and gelled some, has improved a lot since the Auburn game, but the way that Kyle Allen and the Aggies moved the ball on Auburn at Jordan Hare this past weekend has me worried.
