Need help setting up tripod dish for my rv

I was given a dish and tripod set up that i can use with my rv and tailgating at Boise State football games. The receiver i am using is set up for a different dish than the portable one do i need to reset the receiver and if so how do i do that?

You will need to re-run guided setup to select the different dish type.
What dish is the normal one and what is the tailgating dish being used?

Like JD said, re-run setup.

When you turn the receiver on it MAY go to a white Directv screen and say "searching for satellite" (if the dish type is different from where the rcvr came from)

Push back and/or exit to get to black screen

Hit menu-repeat sat setup-push dash(Under 7 button)

Select dish type switch type and continue.

If unsure of dish/switch type, give us a description and we ll tell ya.
