Need Reciever Upgrade

This is a pretty stupid question. I just need to know how to obtain the upgrade for the D10-300 reciever.

You mean a software update? Just leave the receiver connected to the dish and it should take the update from the signal stream. If it doesn't after a few days, you may need to call DirecTV tech.

If you are talking about upgrading your receiver to a new MPEG4 receiver, then you will have to wait for DirecTV to call you.
