Need some help - 8 foot Unimesh install

Using this procedure, I have successfully streamed from my V9 to my PC over my network. The channel played well on my PC. I then connected my PC by HDMI cable back to the TV and played the video on the TV. I don't have 4:2:2 available right now for testing.

Much as I hate to say. The new Apple TV looks like the streamer to get for displaying 4:2:2 on your TV. Although i use the newest Fire TV Cube, the Apple (cringe) nudges by it in capabilities.
There is an extensive thread on satuniverse that narrows down what consumer devices work the best.
I wondered and asked how the DSR guys on Ricks were getting a/v to a TV when they didn't have HDMI ports.
SDI. Then eBay for "sdi to hdmi".

I've posted this previously but I've tried the major streaming devices for 4:2:2 HD playback over wired ethernet. FireTV 4k and GoogleTV 4k cannot playback 4:2:2 HD feeds. FireTV cube and NVIDIA Shield TV can playback 720p but fail on 1080. AppleTV can playback 720p and 1080 but the colors on 1080 looked washed out. I ended up not keeping the Apple TV 4k. YMMV. I'll have to read what was posted on SatUniverse but this is what I found for NA 4:2:2 feeds. My best advice is that if you want reliable playback of 4:2:2 HD from an E2 device, V9, etc your best option for a client is a low power miniPC or Chromebox with 10th generation or newer cpu.

But can it accept M3U playlists, and if so how do you load them?

mr3p said a Chromebox might do it.
The link is here:

Receiver for 4.2.2

A member posed a link to a video file with somewhat of a sophisticated modulation scheme.
My Cube wouldn't play it. VLC on my pc, anything wouldn't either. He said it did perfectly on the Apple TV.

As far as M3U, M3U8 files. If you happen to have Kodi on your streamer or smart TV and setup the Enigma 2 PVR client.
No worries. You fire up Kodi and see the bouquets and channels populate for several seconds. Finding and watching them is fairly straight forward after that. Of couse you will want an Enigma 2 receiver in standby or the only channels you can watch are the ones on the currently tuned transponder. Basically the same as if you had another receiver in client mode in another room working with only a wifi/lan connection.
Of course Kodi is something a non-jailbroken ATV can't run. So there's one for a Fire device. I love my newest version Cube. The only. And I mean ONLY way I would but another Apple TV is if one popped up on FB marketplace or Craigs locally for a good price.
I'm not positive if USA satellite channels that broadcast 4:2:2 have the supposedly complex modulation scheme that the file in the link contains. That's for the super geeks.
