Why not invite the neighbor over to your house for a cold beer or ice tea. Show them all the nice FTA channels that you can watch for free. Explain how your dish can not be interfering with their OTA signals. Maybe offer to help them with their OTA setup. You could be the spark that creates a new FTA'er. You might even start a new friendship.
Just because they are ignorant about radio signals doesn't necessarily mean they are stupid.(But they could be! LOL)
I would exhaust all efforts at diplomacy first. I would not live in a feuding situation for long... even if I KNEW I was in the right. It just ain't worth the stress and heartache.
