New D11 500 rcvr

We exchanged our original RCA rcvr (1992 era) for a new D11 500 rcvr. The old RCA worked well except it would over heat and turn off occationally. It probably needed cleaning inside.

The time in the upper banner of the new D11 500 is hard to read (white lettering on light blue background). Any way to change this color combination?

Also, the old RCA would change channels quickly (wife likes to channel-hop), but this new D11 500 is relatively slow to change channels. Anyway to speed up channel changing?

Also, with old RCA we could create unlimited "Favorites" (Music, Movies, Children, Don, Judy, etc). This new D11 500 only has two available "Favorites" plus an "All" channel choice. Any way to make more than two custom "Favorites"?

Well, you won't like this:

can't change color combo
can't speed up channel changing (it is slower than the old sony)
can't have more than 2 favorites lists

And a D10 & D12 work exactly the same.
