• New Channel 101 Redesign
– Welcome to the DISH Network Neighborhood!
– Effective July 1, 2007
– As you may already know, DISH Network has a dedicated channel, Channel 101, to help new and existing customers understand DISH Network products and services.
o Starting July 1, 2007, Channel 101 will be all new, with updated content, a fresh look and a brand-new name and theme: The DISH Network Neighborhood!
- In The DISH Network Neighborhood, two live-action hosts walk a viewer through a shorter, 30-minute loop of programming to make it easier to learn about our products and services in one sitting.
- The DISH Network Neighborhood can still be found on channel 101. The revised content is targeted for new customers and is the first channel to authorize on a customer's receiver.
- We recommend tuning to this channel right away during an installation so that new customers can become acquainted with DISH Network while the technician wraps up his or her work.
- It's a great idea for your technicians to record the shortened loop to the customer's DVR – that way it can be a customer's first recording and an opportunity for them to learn basic DVR recording and retrieval steps.
- You'll also want to train your entire staff to integrate use of The DISH Network Neighborhood on channel 101 into their respective roles involving contact with new customers.
