Shaw is clearing all Standard Def channels off F2 T13 right now. It should be clear by August.
There is speculation that this will initially be used as a MPEG4 DVB-S2 test channel to do the final testing of the 605/630 + cable head end MPEG4/DVB-S2 decoders.
If the CRTC OKs the takeover of Canwest TV properties by Shaw, expect to see HGTV + Global Toronto & Vancouver on this transponder eventually.
BTW, if anyone has a 921 receiver, now is the time to contact SD. They will swap a 505 at no charge for it. This is because of the uncertainty of Motorola support for 9XX receivers in 2011.

They started years ago asking the 921 users if they would swap their IRD's out for a 505. Whenever there has been a call to the tech centre they always asked me if I wanted to swap it out.
