Greeting all,
I just joined this forum today. I am very new to FTA. Currently residing in NC. I do have a few questions in reference to setting the Pansat 3500sd receiver and dish pro 500 LNB. I've trying to setup the system for the past two days with no success. The problem I'm having is that I cannot get any signal at all. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong. Any feedback would be appreciated.

the dish is too small.....you need a 30" or larger dish and a KU Band LNB to get free to air stuff. The D500 will get you NASA and Angel one and thats about it

Iceberg,
What you are saying is that an 18" dish will not do? Also what is a KU band LNB?

A Ku band lnb will pick up Ku signals, those are the signals you can pick up with a smaller dish.

Take a look at TheList under "Free To Air Ku Band ( 31" dish and larger )" for an idea of what you can receive.
