Hi All!

I used to work for a retailer and they used to get all the install supplies. Now I'm on my own and was wondering whats the best place to get install material. Many thanks.

Welcome to the Site !

I am not an installer, but I do my share of them.
I get my stuff from Claude at DishStore, (site member) ask for him when you call.
Also get stuff from Solid Signal.

Both DISH and Directv have approved lists for supplies. Within Directv, their HSP offices have their own lists. DISH has a reputation for changing their specification and then retroactively back charging techs for using parts that were ok at the time of the installation but...now are not ok. Directv seems to have a good reason for using SC (Solid Copper) RG6 from the dish (OU) to the receivers but, as a generalization, use whatever is already hanging on the building.

Regardless of price..it is the shipping that will eat you up...try to buy locally if possible.
