CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — NASA has cleared space shuttle Endeavour for a June 13 launch to the international space station.

Just read this, thought it was a good heads-up for all of us who follow
the space program on NASA TV.

Thanks for the heads up turbo, I missed the last one, Atlantis (STS-125) with the Hubble, well I missed the launch. 13-day journey of approximately 5.3 million miles in space. Wow! I did miss the return home but watched a playback.

I did get to see the check of the underside of the shuttle live on NASA and the catch of Hubble but you really got to get the entire Shuttle Experience with the Launch, Mission and Return Home all live.

I wanted to see if they had any live TV of the piggy back ride from Edwards Air Force Base in California to Kennedy Space Center in Florida and did not get a chance to see if they covered it. I am sure they had something.

Again, thanks for the heads up and I will set a mental reminder that it is going back up on the 13th providing Mother Nature does not have a hand in stopping the launch of Mission of STS-127.

Nasa TV will start coverage at 2:00 ET (June 13th) with liftoff scheduled for 7:17 ET.

(Looks like I'll need to get up extra early to watch and record the launch in HD :)
