Major, MAJOR kudos to the Colts and their coach today. With their seeding locked in coming into today, I wouldn't have blamed Indy if they treated this as a bye week. Coach Pagnano was certainly the inspiration this win today.

With the Bears win today, once again we will not have a repeat Super Bowl Champion. The 03'-'04 Patriots are the last team to go back-to-back.

Also, the Redskins have been eliminated from Wildcard contention. It now comes down to Redskins or Cowboys for the NFC East, and Vikings or Bears for the last Wildcard.

I have friends in Baltimore who are not so forgiving...you can literally see the blood rush to their faces whenever the Colts are mentioned.
I was the same way with the Cardinals and Rams from their moves... used to be fans of both, still not and same with the Oilers > Titans and for some reason can't get behind the Texans or Ravens as replacements. (the Browns fall in to a grey category)

Something I didn't know until today- this is Gil Santos' last regular season game as Pats radio PBP.

Even though I'm a Bills fan, I remember listening to him on old NFL Yearbook and NFL Films highlights stuff.

I don't blame Baltimore fans for hating the Colts, but IF they are now Ravens fans I find it somewhat hypocritical.

Pryor and offense is look more active with Palmer not playing...hmmm....

Pryor not looking bad, but not real good either, still has an odd throwing motion and still misses some open recvrs, but, that said, he's hit some passes today that have been dropped as well.

That said, they trail big.

Well, the Lions pretty much closed out there season like they have done every since 1964. :(

I was busy today so I did not watch football during the day, but heard that the lions are looking at doing a review of Schwartz, maybe rumor buy out. I doubt it would happen

Only problem is, they need to send the GM and the Owner out as well and thats not happening.

Other problem is, can they get anyone Better in there ?

I think the MVP is between Manning and Brady, which Manning getting the nod. What I find odd is nobody has included Johnson, who just eclipsed Jerry Rice for the single season receiving years record, in the mix. Can you imagine both the all-time leading rusher and pass receiver both being beaten out of the MVP.

If I got a vote it would go to Adrian Peterson.

1. The opposing defense knows he's getting the ball, and they STILL can't stop him.

2. The supporting cast isn't the greatest (especially when Percy Harvin went down), and the Vikings still made the playoffs in a vastly superior conference. IMHO, the Vikings would have been a 5 or 6 win without him.
