Is anyone aware of a new policy with DirecTV that states commerical businesses must sign up for core product in order to sign up for NFL ticket?

What does this mean? Core product? I know our little bar can't afford to pay much more....cost of beer will be going up because of fuel costs along with loss of corn in
bad weather. We subscribe also to the baseball package...seems like that is enough
money that we spend. We don't need extra non-sports crap adding up the bill.

Core product?

We have a small beer bar and subscribe to NFL plus the Baseball package.
We pay as much as we can afford and will not pay year round for non-sports
related crap we will not show at the bar. What does that Core product requirement include?
Thanks

Ask their business dept, we are mostly consumers here.

Perhaps you can purchase a basic local channels package or just ESPN or CNN or something like that?
