NFLST require contract renwal?

Hi All,
If I'm no longer under contract and have never had the NFLST, will it require a contract renewal when I add it to the account? I see that for programming changes, people say it renews the contract, but I took that to mean only if you change your base programming. Forgive me if this was already covered...I spent some time searching and couldn't find anything.

No it will not extend or renew your contract
