I had a bad tuner that could not power the lnb. Replaced the LG TDQJ-P001F tuner (22 pins).
Now I can lock tps with good signal, flip polarity and flip switches, but when I try to watch a channel or scan a TP no data comes through.
I am thinking that one of the pins that actually move the ts stream to the processor is not soldiered correctly, but I tried re-soldering 3 times already.
Anyone know where I can find a schematic for the board or tuner? Anyone else ever have a tuner that goes out but still does the signal and switches correctly?
Also I think if I add the 8psk tuner I'll get watchable channels on that? do the regular qpsk channels get tuned on that tuner also? (I dont think so)
