Nice road trip for the Kings 3-1. They are finding a way to get it done early on in the season. Hopefully being away for so long has bonded the team and they are ready to take on all comers!

OK then. Dodgers folded like a cheap wool suit in the rain last night, so all hands on deck for Kings hockey starting TONIGHT!!! Nice to be back home. GO KINGS! GO! :popcorn

Tough loss for the Kings last night. Sloppy play led to it, though. Calgary 3 Kings 2. Kopitar in penalty box with game tied and a minute to go in the 3rd!

Just a programming note: Red Wings are up against the Oilers Saturday Night and it's on CBC if anyone wants to see it over-the-air. (That is if you're close to Windsor of course).:)

The Denver Police department said on Wednesday that they have arrested Colorado Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov for domestic violence-related charges. The police said that Varlamov turned himself in voluntarily, and is facing charges of second degree kidnapping and third degree assault of someone he knew. The Avalanche released a statement about the arrest of their goalie. "The Colorado Avalanche organization is aware of the allegations concerning Semyon Varlamov. At this time, and until the conclusion of this investigation, the Avalanche organization will have no further comment on this situation." Varlamov is off the 7-1-0 start to the season on a Colorado club that is in second place in the Western Conference under new coach Patrick Roy.

Pens beat Columbus in back to back games in a home at home series.

Those were the two worse games that Columbus has played this year. They look really flat during the series.

Was announced yesterday that Columbus will host the 2015 All-Star game. Can't wait until it comes around as we lost the one during the lockout. The wife and I will be attending all of the events, including skills competition and game. :D

And the Reds get the 2015 All-Star game. Good year for Ohio.
