No locals in Cabin

Everyone has been helpful in the past. I live in Columbia SC and have a house in western NC. approximately 120 miles away. with your help, I was able to install a Slimline SWM 3 and able to get my HD channels. I get all except my locals. Does anyone know what Satellite and transponder WIS TV channel 10 is on? Any idea why I can not get my locals? Thanks, d

Local channels except the big four in NYC and LA are on spot beams. You are too far out of the footprint to get them. It's on 99s t10.

You might be able to get it in sd. It's on 101 t4.

Thanks Chip, I can still get them on SD. Do you know how long SD will be available for locals. I thought that they were doing away with SD.

Whatever the timeline, AT&T hasn't been too forthcoming with an exact date. BTW, what are your signal levels on 99s t10?
