Norsat LNB

Anyone familiar with this Norsat lnb:
Norsat C-Band to F(f) Low Noise Block 3.625-4.2GHz NEW - eBay (item 270519548288 end time Feb-23-10 10:00:17 PST)

The label doesn't look like the Norsat labels on the Norsat website.

Is this really a Norsat or a clone?

The price seems too good to be true.

I noticed a sticker on the LNB that said Avitar Unlimited Inc. on it.

The other thing is being that it has 23 more days to go. Call Norsat with the serial number listed and ask for verification.

in the Seattle, Washington area

This is for my 10 foot big dish, and that my old C-bandl LNB
back in 2002 isn't a high stability, today.

Anyone knows any places in Seattle that sells Norsat LNB???

Not for it's age...probably a bit high on the price. That's the label Norsat used on their LNB's in the 80's and 90's...

I picked up mine from SkyVision in MN when driving past... They do 99% of their business by mail order and they would likely have one in stock. Also the supporting vendors (top of page) might have one..

Am I right in thinking that for me to use that lnb that I'd need a feed and have to have two of them on a switch to get both polarities?

Yes Cracklin, That is my understanding, I found it out the hard way. Unless you have a polar rotor feedhorn.

If you have a polarotor feed horn (with a polarotor) you only need one lnb to get both H & V
