Longtime retailer, noted trainer and former member of the SBCA Retail Council, J.R. Stallings has announced the formation of a new association dedicated to the advancement of the independent satellite retailer and technician.
After gathering ideas from a number of notable people within the industry, STARS is now a reality. The Satellite Technician and Retailer Society will be identifying and developing retailers and technicians across the nation, making STARS the best source of competent electronic technicians and retailers. STARS will soon be the “go to place” to locate the best of the best when searching for qualified technicians within the industry.
In addition, the Satellite Technician and Retailer Society is preparing for advanced business opportunities. STARS teaches that success is a process and is conveying that process to its members through it’s education programs. STARS members are making a difference for their customers and themselves everyday. According to Mr. Stallings, The Satellite Technician and Retailer Society (STARS) will be exhibiting for the first time at the Satellite & Broadband Expo in Atlanta. STARS, is providing quality instruction free of charge to this year’s SBE attendees. Classes at the Atlanta show include: New & Small Retailer Survival & Diversification as well as Structured Wiring and Residential A/V Distribution.
Attendees of SBE 2007 will also have the chance to find out more about STARS by visiting them at booth #635 which will be staffed throughout the show.
