Omegasat5700 Frozen

Hi my receiver is stuck it wont turn off unless i hit the main switch on the back, and it doesn't send a signal at all to my tv, its displays the code F512 but i can't find if its an error code or not, anyone ever encounter this problem?

Never encountered that problem as I do not have a Omegasat 5700..Looking at its specs I would say it has done you a favor!
Take a look at a Linkbox,AZbox,MicroHD,..

Sounds like a boot loader error. You might try the distributor for support:

As I repair some receivers, I believe your problem is power supply filter caps going/gone bad. Look at power supply board and check for bulging, rounded tops, not flat tops on the capacitors. Replace any that are rounded. drjohn
