OMG!! CMT airing in HD!!

I must be seeing things. I was flipping through the channels tonight and CMT is airing the movie "O' brother where art thou" in HD. So I flipped through a few more channels and MTV showed 3 or 4 commercials in a row that were all in HD.

But for some reason VH1 is still behind, because one of the commercials that was in HD on MTV was shown just a few minutes later on VH1 and it was in SD. But it appears things are looking up for those channels finally.

CMT has been showing movies and some shows in HD for a while now.. But for some reason they have not been showing any music videos in HD although Paladia shows the same videos in HD. So that means the videos are HD. Don't know why CMT chooses to not show HD Videos. Must be a studio problem of some sorts.

Vh1 shows a few HD shows.. like " for the love of ray J" or something like that.. but 95% of the rest of the shows are SD 4:3

well folks wanted more HD channels so these companies create these "HD" channels with 95% SD content and call them HD
