Openbox Openbox V8S Receiver Need US Sats Not foreign

Hi I just hooked up my New Openbox V8S and it only came with Foreign Satellites to program.
I live in the New York Area and need US Satellites for my 10 foot dish.
Anyone can direct me to a area where I can can get the Bin that I need.........Thanks........JS

Check with the reseller. They should provide a correct satellite list and editor if sold in the US. If that doesn't work, the original STB appears to be an ALI 3511 chipset (who knows what it is if it is a clone). Maybe try a satellite list and editor available for another STB like an Amiko mini HD or ???

Can I use the Foreign satellites and change them to work in the states?...Thanks

Yes, but you might wear out your fingers on the remote! LOL.

I would at least determine what chipset is used and try to find computer based software editor to create a channel list.

Might be able to plug a USB keyboard into the box to do the typing,instead of trying to do it all with the remote.

I have a NA sat file for the skybox v6 which I believe uses the same processor so it may work. The V6 maxes out at 64 satellites.
