Optical Audio connections

My home theatre receiver has only one optical input for digital audio, however my digital cable box, DVD player, and satellite receiver all have optical audio outputs. Can I get them all connected and not have to switch audio every time I change sources?

You could buy an optical switcher that you could use to switch between the different peripherals. Check out this thread:
