I am considering "moving" to an area that would allow me to receive the NY HD feeds.

I know I need to call in to DirecTV to change my service address, but am wondering if I can order the DNS via the website (DIRECTV: Local/Network Channel Availability).

So basically, the two questions I have are:

1- Is it as easy to change the service address as many here say?

2- Can I order the DNS via the website or is it just better to call in?

Thanks!

That availability webpage only shows if your address is eligible for DNS.
Even if it says you can, a station may deny a waiver. In any case, you have to call DirecTV.
