For 27 years I could not get an OTA ghost free analog signal in the canyon I live in. Even though My house is within 15 miles of all tv broadcast towers, I could not get a signal that you didn't see 2-3 copies. I tried with many antennas outside and inside. Last week I attached one of my previously useless indoor antennas, a dual gold bow tie for UHF channels, to one of my 622s. I scanned for local channels and to my amazement all available channels were found(11). The 3 on VHF ( 11,11-01,and 11-02) have the lowest signal (67-68). The rest (UHF) have signals from 75 to 95. I now have added another indoor antenna to my other 622 and receive all channels except PBS.

If it worked for me, maybe there are others of you who do not get Dish HD locals that can try again. Good luck!!
