OTA with Voom

Can I use a Voom receiver for OTA without subscribing to Voom?

Nope.

Previous posts (by others in this forum) indicated it is disabled unless you subscribe to the VOOM service. As a matter of fact, right now you have to download the "map" of available local stations via the VOOM signal. No way I know to get that without subscribing. When VOOM initiates the new "ota scanning mode" that may change, but I doubt it.
